A Jedi Master from Episodes I and II, he is on the Jedi Council in both.  A characteristic of his race is their ability to absorb a large amount of physical suffering, and Master Koth is no exception.  He is only known to have trained one Jedi, the Tusken Jedi Sharad Hett.  Not much is known about him, and he dies in the Geonosis battle at the beginning of the Clone Wars.
