A Jedi Master from Episode I, her family were highly placed diplomats on Coruscant.  One of her relatives, Stass Allie, would also become a Council member in Episode III.  Her Force specialty include intuition and piloting.  When using her lightsaber, she uses a crazy one-handed reverse hold on it.  She also seems to be one of the Jedi who oversaw the Republic intelligence operations before Episode II, and made several appearances in the book Cloak of Deception.  She was also one of the maverick Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn’s strongest supporters.  During the Clone Wars, she lead Red Squadron against space pirates throughout the galaxy.  On one of her flights, this time aboard a Republic Star Destroyer rather than her customary one-man fighter, her ship crashed onto the planet Boz Pity, which housed a hidden Separatist base.  General Grievous and his troops came in after the crash and cleaned out the survivors of the crash, in the process killing Master Gallia.
